Decided to stay here for my first solo trip to a watch a show at the Bataclan. It was only 5 mins walk away which was perfect as I didn’t need to spend money on Ubers etc. The receptionists were very welcoming and friendly both the day and night staff. I had a superior single room which was a reasonable size. The room was reasonably clean and tidy. The location is perfect and easy to get to from the airport through the metro and overground. It’s only €11 for a day ticket. There are lots of restaurants and bars close by. I would definitely book to stay here again in the future. Good value for money definitely recommend

Tiny perfect hotel
One of the smallest rooms we have stayed in, but it was clean and comfortable and in a very good location. The staff are pleasant and helpful. It was perfect budget stay for one night. A longer stay might not work so well for a couple because of the size of the room.

Budget hotel, good value for money, in a decent are on a quiet street with good transport links. The room was small but clean and comfortable, unfortunately the walls are paper thin so you tend to hear everyone else in their rooms. Staff were friendly.

The staff was amiable and helpful, and the room was clean. Love the hotel's location as there are a cafe and a metro station 20 steps away. Also, the hotel is only 30 minutes drive away from CDG airport.

Good location, good value
Good location close by Metro stop, eateries and bars close by, nice area. Room is small but within expectation for this price, I only needed to sleep there and price is good value for Paris. Room furnishings good condition, seemed relatively new. I asked for quiet room and did have quiet nights on weekend, don’t know if just lucky that neighbors were quiet or adjacent rooms were empty, in other words I couldn’t really judge walls soundproofing level, but can say the street area is relatively quiet late and the hotel clientele seemed not to be bringing the party back to their rooms. I would definitely stay again.

This hotel is conveniently located by a metro entrance, a decent restaurant, a bakery, connivance store, and a laundromat. The neighborhood is safe. The metro ride into the center of Paris was about ten minutes. The room was clean and had hot water. The room was small, but I only slept there so that was not an issue for me. At one third the price of surrounding hotels, I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

This hotel surprisingly good
This hotel is surprisingly good. Metro#5 and #9 right in front. It is so convenient to go everywhere. The room is new. AC is new. It is better than some 3 or 4 star hotels I stayed. There is safe box in room. Shower water is strong. Wifi is very good. I liked this one so much that I immediately booked next year stays in this hotel.

Had a very enjoyable stay at Mary's Hotel Republique, the rooms are clean and well-kept. There's always someone at the front desk 24 hours each day. Very good location, less than a minute to Oberkampf Metro, plus elevator and air-conditioning. What more could you ask for?

I didn’t feel it necessary to have to leave my key at the desk every time I left for the day or evening. They said it was so we wouldn’t lose the key, however I am a very responsible person & can keep a key safe.

Great location at a great price. I stayed in Paris nearly a week and stayed at this hotel. I was mostly out and about but when I’d get back to the hotel, it had a comfy bed, TV with quite a few English channels, and a hot shower. If you plan to be out exploring most of the time, then this hotel provides a great value and a 1 minute walk to the metro and lots of great restaurants nearby in Le Marais.

I was concerned at first after reading reviews but was pleasantly surprised! It’s such good value for money, the room was great and very clean, there were cleaners every day that kept it spotless. The staff were absolutely lovely so thank you for an amazing stay! There were transport strikes when we were in Paris so the central location of the hotel really saved the trip! Will definitely come here again next time I’m in Paris.

I chose Mary's because it was centrally located between a few attractions that were within walking distance. This was a great location for this. You can walk Père Lachaise cemetery in just a few minutes. The shops and restaurants are definitely an added bonus. I also walked to Notre Dame Cathedral and it was very easy and well worth it. The down side: When you book rooms at this here on Expedia be sure and either ask questions to verify your room type and know what you are getting. All too often the pictures shown ARE NOT what you are actually getting. The low priced rooms here ARE NOT "city view" rooms. They are a converted broom or storage closet where there is a window that opens up into a vertical passageway for plumbing. When I asked for another room they (of course) said there would be a cost. You cannot maneuver very easily in these rooms and the raised shower basin is a hazard to walk past without tripping over. Noting like this could pass any sort of engineering specifications in the U.S.. It's just too dangerous and the lawsuits would seem to just mount up. Just make sure you do not get stuck with this room. I also had a problem with not getting my wake up calls and an attitude by a dark haired lady at the desk, but this is not a bad budget choice. The restaurant Nous, on the corner down the street made staying here well worth it. Just an FYI on the rooms.

Nice budget hotel
It was clean and comfortable for a basic budget hotel. It was a safe area with good metro and bus very near. Ample cafes and bars near. The staff were very nice. The lighting is very good with good can lights overahead and two bedside lights each side, one a soft light and the other a swivel neck task light. Plugs each side of bed. It is a small room with a smaller bathroom but efficient. The mattress is very firm but ok. There were 4 pillows and an extra very thick blanket.
