    The apartment is located on the 4th floor, without lift, of a typical Haussmannian building of the 19th century. Very bright and quiet on the courtyard it offers a pleasant living room with a new and comfortable sofa bed 160 cm wide and mattress 20 cm thick, a bedroom with a double bed, a large bathroom with bath/shower, toilet and sink, a fully equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher, hob, kitchen utensils, toaster, kettle, coffee maker...)
    There is Wifi, bed linen and towels are provided.

    The historic Marais district is within walking distance and the metro will allow you to get around Paris easily.

Lovely Parisian apartment in good location

We had a wonderful stay, this little apartment was perfect for the 3 of us. Matt the owner was very helpful & solved the couple of issues we had quickly & in one case provide a discount due to inconvenience at not being able to resolve before we arrived. Please note the apartment is up 4 flights of circular staircase so not for the faint hearted! This didn’t bother us & it was a lovely place to return to after a long day of sightseeing. The location is pretty central & easy to get to all the main attractions quickly on the metro that is 5 mins walk away. I’d very much recommend.

Fabulous stay

We had an absolutely fabulous stay in this apartment! The space is beautiful and bright and spotlessly clean. We were in Paris at the end of June and even though it was hot (87 F) the apartment was breezy and there were nice fans that helped keep us cool while sleeping. AC is hard to come by in paris but the big windows let lots of breeze through. It is a lovely neighborhood and we felt compleletly safe to let our 13year old twins walk to the canal to buy ice cream. We loved evening strolls along the canal only a half block away. The German restaurant just outside the main door was super good and friendly. It is quite a feat to walk up to 4th floor but if you belong to a gym you'll have no problem. The closest metro stop is La Republique and there are great bistros and a great Thai place near there. Get a 30 euro metro weekly pass if you're staying a few days. It makes it so easy to get everywhere and is a good deal. You just need to buy it at the airport and place a photo on it. Otherwise we found the metro ticketing confusing. The beds were really comfortable and soft but firm. Plenty of pillows and bedding. We slept well it is a quiet apartment away from any main street noise. Only 30 minutes from Louvre and Eiffel Tower by metro. Be careful the shower head fell the first time we tried to use it. The washing machine worked great! Just keep in mind it is a bit loud and takes quite a long time so run it during the day when you're out. We loved this place and would return

Wonderful little apartment close to the canal. Great place to base your stay in Paris. We used both the bedroom and the pullout couch and they were both plenty comfortable. Highly recommend staying here.

Communications and instructions were clear - we had an easy time entering the property and meeting up with a friend of the host at the entryway, who showed us to our room. The weather was super hot when we were visiting Paris, so the apartment can be warm but has windows (esp. in the bedroom) and a couple fans. Location is good and walkable! Republique is the nearest metro. Expect stairs. Had all the amenities we didn't necessarily expect in Paris - fridge, washer & dryer, big bathroom, dishwasher, etc. Would recommend!

This location cannot be beat. Super spot. The apartment was clean and the host allowed us to drop our luggage early which was super helpful. Beware of the flights of stairs, but otherwise the flat was great. Wifi was fast, the Nespresso helpful.

The apartment is lovely. Great light, layout and condition. It was a great place to stay and the location is also fantastic. It was pretty comfortable in the apartment despite it being over 90 degrees outside. Matt was very responsive when I was figuring out how to access the apartment. I would note that this unit is on the 6th floor without an elevator, and through a small passage way to the rear of the building. I would absolutely stay there again, it's just something to consider.

Das Appartement entsprach genau den Abbildungen und der Beschreibung, es war sauber und gemütlich. Natürlich war es für 3 Personen (2 Erw. 1 Kind) etwas eng aber händelbar. Das Appartement liegt im vierten Stock und ist nur über eine enge Treppe zu erreichen, die Beleuchtung / Schalter funktionierte nicht einwandfrei und ein Rettungsweg war weder erkennbar noch beschrieben. Meine erste Reaktion, die Treppe tuen wir uns in unserem Alter (65 und 74) nicht mehr an. Gewöhnt haben wir uns trotzdem dran. Die Lage ist top, in der Nähe zum Kanal Saint Martin, der auch gut der Orientierung und der Wegeplanung dient, denn wir waren mit dem Rad unterwegs. Ein bunter und interessanter aber gentrifizierter Stadtteil für junge Leute und jung gebliebene. Dank Ladezone vor dem Haus konnten wir unser Gepäck bis vor die Haustür bringen und die mitgebrachten Fahrräder konnten ca. 20 m weiter an Fahrradbügeln im Straßenraum sicher verwahrt werden.
