Clean room and comfortable bed but very small-nowhere to store two large suitcases. And it was really hot in the room to sleep for April. But was a good location to get to the metro, had a nice patio and place to hang out since you couldn't in the room, and don't miss the happy hour at Cafe Paulette just a couple blocks away!

This is a very well located hotel and I enjoyed my stay there for the most part. That said, the elevator did not work beyond the 5th floor (I was on the 6th, so had to take the stairs from there---no big deal, but it should be fixed). The breakfast was good, but they regularly ran out of food half way through the serving period. It was sometimes replenished, sometimes not. Room was small--but that's Europe, so no particular complaint there. However, there was a heatwave in Paris and the hotel (like many places in Paris) has no A/C, and the heat was absolutely stifling. (And I live in a hot place--I'm no stranger to hot weather). I was lucky that they were able to provide me an oscillating fan, which helped move the air somewhat--but other people in the hotel were not able to get one: must have been unbearable. Obviously, we can't blame the hotel for the weather! But with climate change, they are going to figure out a solution, as these situations are becoming much more common. They were very good about providing nice, cold water downstairs, which was much appreciated.

Great stay

Great place to stay and good location. Staff was cordial and caring. Hotel was as expected. Rooms typically tight for American standards, but we know they are part of the reduced space format that's normal in Europe. It was not a very big deal, although one would obviously want a larger space especially for luggage placing in the room.

I would say 7 out of 10.

The hotel is located in a very good central location, about an hour's walk from the Eiffel Tower. Other than that, the staff is helpful and sensitive. The rooms are clean but a little small. I didn't have any problems because I was the only person there, but the breakfast was very inadequate and lacked variety in my opinion. Other than that, I hope it would be better if they pay a little more attention to cleaning.

I arrived early (hadn’t slept during my 9h flight so badly needed to rest) and while my room wasn’t ready for early check-in, they assigned me to another available room. Stayed for one night, the room was good with a big window and a comfortable bathroom size. Keys didnt work from first try which was annoying because i was super tired that day. It was very clean and comfortable, Altho. there was no air conditioning, there were two fans provided. The bathroom fitments were perfectly clean and usable but probably in comparison to more modern hotels the tiling and counters showed signs of wear and tear. I did not mind but if you are fussy , probably not for you.

Narrow room without hairdryer

I can't open my carrier because the room is too small. There is no hairdryer in the hotel room, so I have to rent it at the counter. Breakfast is completely vegetables-free. Staying in Paris is expensive, but I am not satisfied with the price of this hotel at all. The staff was very kind, but the hotel owner should seriously consider improving the facilities. I recommend only for those who want to experience the narrow room without hairdryer.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and made me feel very welcome as a solo traveller. I also found the area very safe and well connected with three metro stations nearby. This feels like a stay in the less touristy side of paris and i highly recommend. Some things to note which seem unique to the hotel- the hotel tells you to leave your room keys at the hotel in case of safety and loosing your keys because of pickpockets on the metro. Seems odd but was perfectly fine and the staff let you in easy with a 24hr reception. Rooms are small but serviceable it is paris after all! But had everything i need including own bathroom and safe to store my passport no extra cost, bagagge was stored for me on checkout too. It would be nice if the hotel added tea/coffee making facilities to have after a trip out. It would also be good to have a fridge to use. Thanks for making my first solo trip to Paris Great! Emily
