"After a curious approach. The owner met us there and showed us around. It was a very quite, beautiful mountain apartment. Details outdoors were evident and comfort inside was great. "This was our third time staying in 4 years, which hopefully says it all. The barn itself is full of character combined with modern fittings. The setting is idyllic with a lovely sunny patio and garden, and gorgeous views across to the duomo and Barga old town, and far-reaching views over the valley. It really is a special place with a sense of tranquility yet just 25 mins walk or 5-10mins drive into Barga. We’ve only been back a few days and already can’t wait to return. "
