"Our stay in The Grand Hotel Kalamata was perfect. We were welcomed warmly when we arrived and shown the hotel's car park nearby. Our room was very spacious and had a separate sitting area as well as 2 bathrooms (No. 210). The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathrooms had a full range of amenities. All the rooms were spotless and decorated to a high quality. The public areas of the hotel were beautifully decorated and there were lots of seating options for meals. There was a wide range at breakfast and it was plentiful. We also ate dinner on one occasion in the hotel's restaurant. All the meals were very high quality and delicious. The staff were superb. They always greeted us with a smile and were friendly, helpful and efficient. We highly recommend The Grand Hotel Kalamata and plan to stay here again next time we are in Greece."

"Wonderful hotel. Quaint town that appears a bit rundown but has a lot of nice places including restaurants. Good beach in short driving distance. Excellent breakfast. Nice Coco-mat bed and pillows which are really comfortable. "

"We enjoyed Hotel Flisvos. The room was very nice and clean. The bed was very firm. They had a drying rack on the deck, which allowed us to wash a few items of clothing. We enjoyed a walk along the beach and eating at one of the restaurants along the beach. We did a quick trip into the old part of Kalamata, but the castle was closed (3:30) and we weren't impressed with the commertial area. We came directly back to enjoy the beach. We were grateful we had booked this place along the beach. It felt much safer and nicer. We took a short beach walk in the morning before enjoying their very nice breafkast before heading out."
