    This may have been a nice hotel once upon a time, but not now. Room smelly with perfumed spray. Rug tattered. Everything simply old. Ice maker not working. Washer and dryer not working. The breakfast was very nice.

    The hotel itself was clean and maintained, the room itself felt more like an hourly rate type room. The room smelled, the bed and sheets smelled like really bad body odor. I called housekeeping and asked to change the bed linens hoping it was a simple fix but I was told I needed to come down and get the new linens and change the bedding out myself. Even after changing it, it still smelled. The AC blew cool not cold and the room was stuffy. The bathtub had black mildew all around the caulking. The positive about the place is that it was close to everything you needed and I felt safe coming and going.

    The staff was very professional, and nice. However the rooms need more attention, there was stains everywhere on the carpet, furniture also had stains. The bathroom caulking had mold, and the bathroom curtains had holes, as well. And the fridge you could tell it’s not well-maintained and old.

    The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were clean and soft. However, the location was not great and the hotel needed repairs and updating. Our shower curtain was poorly mounted by a very messy repair to the tiles in the bathroom. We were awoken at about 3:00 a.m. by loud fighting in a room near us and out in the hallway that continued for at least half an hour. When checking out, the front desk attendant didn't ask how our stay was, just if we received a bill under our door. We opted not to stay and eat the breakfast since we just honestly wanted to get out of there.

    I am hesitant to give this review with low stars because I know how important these are to the employees who were fine. The hotel condition however is so poor that it can’t go unmentioned. The carpet in my room had 2 huge stains that looked sinister. The room was also missing the couch/pull out leaving an empty glaring space. Just spend a little money and renovate this thing because the employees and managers are worth it, good people.
