I have been there before and I liked the convenience and price. I was a bit gutted I thought I had booked a room with 2 beds but it was still comfortable. Still loved the staff and the warm welcome and the manaakitanga we received.

The staff were exceptionally good. We really felt at home, and knew that whatever we needed would be sorted. We loved the spa bath, and the ability to have breakfast and dinner in our rooms. Some of the window clasps need fixing, and some ventilation in the bathrooms would be helpful. Otherwise it was warm and cosy!!

Great location but norton rd is quite busy and we found the traffic noise quite loud in the room. Rooms need updating. Shower had mould.

Don't delay! This has to be one of the motels I've stayed in in Palmerston North so far. Has everything you need and more. I was going to stay another week but unfortunately due to unavoidable circumstances I've had to posepone. But will return in the near future. :)

The space offered value for money and the room was what we needed. It was quite dated and old. The only real downside was the couch - it was very uncomfortable and there was a sign that said if we tried to pull it out (sleeper couch) we would be charged $500 which we found strange.

Owners were very nice. There is a wonderful bike trail one block away that connects to the Wamatu Gorge area. In the warmer months there are eels in the river and streams. Electric charging is about 5 blocks away and is fast.
