"We received great instructions from Amina on how to access the room which were easy to follow. If arriving in the day, the ground floor is where a lovely flower shop is, then up a lift. There are then 9 easy steps down to where the room is located. This was our 4th stop on our trip and by far the best room. Although in the centre of everything, the room is super quiet, modern, with a lovely-sized bathroom & powerful shower and great WiFi. We would highly recommend and will definitely return...

"Lovely hotel inside the city walls, if you are driving there and want to take advantage of the hotel car park (availability not guaranteed) you have to follow quite specific instructions to get there so as not to get a fine, they are quite easy to follow though. Dogs accepted and they provided dog beds and water for the dogs which was nice, the dogs are also allowed throughout the hotel. The views from the bedroom were amazing, as is the same from the lovely garden & terrace. Breakfast was great, lovely bread and the best marmalade ever, as well as cake, eggs, etc. bar is just open from 5pm but you can get a drink earlier if it takes your fancy"

"Great breakfast, stunning views of the Tuscan countryside and felt like walking into the past. Exactly as per the photos, a wonderful ambience, full of charm and character. Well located on the edge of the old town, less than 10 minutes walk to the centre. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and hope to come back myself."

"We loved our stay at the Palezzetto Rosso in Seina. The building dates back to medieval times, mostly brick and stone, so travelers will definitely get the historic feel. The rooms, however, have very modern design features. The main feature of the room in which we stayed was a glass enclosed shower and sink area in the center of the room. As long as privacy is not a concern, this is not a problem. The toilet is in a different room that you access by exiting the shower/sink area, walking around the bed, and then entering the toilet. It is definitely an interesting design feature. The problem we did have with the shower/sink area is that there were no lights inside - to use this area you had to turn lights on for the whole room, which could disturb someone still sleeping. Also, there were no cabinets or shelves in the sink area since it was all glass, and the only mirror was a small portable one on the slim counter. It made shaving a little difficult. Despite these minor quirks, we loved the place. The lobby area was open all the way to the top of the building and the decorations retained the historic feel of the palace. Breakfast was served in this area, and they also had liquors available for after hours - guests paid using an honor system. All the staff members we encountered were outstanding and attentive to all of our needs, from calling taxis to arranging activities. We definitely would stay here again."
