Absolutely wonderful!

We wanted a quiet and small property and this was it! Beautifully appointed apartment, easy walk to the beach. Truly was a wonderful stay! Loved the convenience store a block away, had wonderful deli with all the essentials.

Great spot!

Easy access to the town of Paia. Easy checkin and wonderful beach! Sea turtles on the beach everyday. The condo is just as described.Don’t hesitate to book here.

Short stay

Very nicely renovated and decorated. Definitely walk over to Mama's Fish house if you stay here as they take walk-ins at the bar if they have room. The close little beach is very nice as well, there were turtles there every time we went which was very cool to see.

Maui wowie

Paia is a great town to stay in, full of locals with great eateries on the main strip. Location of apartment is perfect and the style of it feel perfect! Be sure to eat at flatbread and fish market!

Fantastic stay in a great part of Maui

We very much enjoyed our stay at this excellent 1 bed/ba place. Quincy was very responsive. Apt was clean, nicely decorated, great appliances, amazing location. Really nice to be away from the main touristy areas. 10/10 recommend.

Steps away from beach and Mama’s Fish House

Nice one bedroom end unit on 2nd floor of three story condo building. Just a short stroll to a nice little beach located next to famous Mama’s Fish House. Short drive to Paia in one direction and Ho’okipa Beach in the other. Also short walk to a small grocery store with excellent Poke Bowls and bottled wines. The condo had everything I needed and was very clean. It’s located right on Hana Highway, so you will hear the early morning traffic heading to work. If you’re an early riser it’s not a big deal. I didn’t find it to be a hindrance to my enjoyment of the property. I would not hesitate to book this unit again.

This was a really cool place to stay even though we didn't get into "Mama"s Fish House." At least we found her secret beach, the store down the street, and, wow...we were actually on the Road to Hana! We loved the space we had in the condo; about the only thing we might have liked was a microwave oven. And our host was very responsive.

Beautiful modern condo in Paia

We were very pleased with the condo and all the interior furnishings. The bathroom and kitchen are built with excellent materials and it does feel luxurious at that level. The only challenge we had is that the road is very nearby and you do hear it from the bedroom. I had no problem with this, but my partner is a light sleeper and she was struggling a bit. That said, the nearby beach at Mama's is gorgeous and actually has some beautiful snorkeling and turtle spotting opportunities.

Perfect spot for a weekend stay

Property was as listed. Clean and nicely decorated inside. Owner was very responsive. Check in and check out was very easy. We visited for a wedding in nearby Haiku and really enjoyed the surrounding area and activities the reviews . Definitely recommend. One last note. We noticed that some reviews mentioned the Hana highway traffic noise. It wasn’t bothersome to us at all. It quiets down a lot at night and doesn’t get busy until mid morning- at least on the weekends. This is a very laid back, relaxed community with few choices for lodging.this was very nice for the area and in our opinion very well priced. We would stay here again

Nice fully updated condo

We had a great 5 night stay at this condo. It is fully updated. Shower had really good water pressure. I brought earplugs because a couple of the reviews mentioned traffic noise but we did not need them. We could hear cars going by but it wasn't bothersome to us. The condo has a good mattress and we slept really well. There is a small beach within a couple minute walk where we saw turtles and in the backdrop windsurfers and kite boarders. It was a really nice little spot. We also walked to Mama's Fish House for dinner one night. Make reservations if possible. The location of this condo is good for exploring upcountry or going to Hana and back. Paia is very close and has lots of good restaurants and shops. The coded entry and exit was very easy and convenient. Nice not to have to remember to grab the key or keycard when leaving. We would not hesitate to stay at this condo in the future.

Nice but a few things to mention

The property is as shown in pictures. Newly renovated with nice location if going to Hana or Haleakala. This appears to be a former hotel turned in to a condo unit. The walls are thin so noise is an issue. We could hear the people in the unit next to us and the highway noise doesn’t die down till 11 or so. The beach at mammas is close and nice. The smoke detector was going off. We attempted to contact the person in the book in the unit. She stated she no longer manages the unit and has told the owner to take her name off the book several times. We attempted to change the batteries but still beeping. The smoke detector is a 2012 model. Time for an upgrade. I messaged the owner and the response was no worries, did it stop beeping when you took out the batteries. I would stay here again for a day or two if there were activities I wanted to do in the area.

Great Base for the Road to Hana

This is a nice apartment to use as a base if you're doing the Road to Hana or want to spend your days out and about on the island. There's a great general store/cafe in walking distance with wonderful coffee, pastries, smoothies, poke, and sandwiches. (A good spot to get picnic items if you're headed to Hana). The downtown of Paia is a short drive away (great food and vibes). This apartment is also an incredibly short walk to Mama's Fish House, which is definitely worth the splurge (get a reservation!) if you're staying here. The apartment itself is as described. Clean and convenient. I'm picky about beds and found this one to be comfortable. We also appreciated the ceiling fan in the bedroom and the A/C unit which kept the whole apartment nice and cool. While the bed is comfortable, I wouldn't say this apartment is one where you want to spend a lot of time hanging out in it. There's limited seating in the living room and the patio table outside is absolutely fine, but it's more basic vs. a comfy place to lounge. But since there is a great beach behind Mama's fish house within walking distance, that's where you'll probably hang out anyway if you aren't out and about on the island or in downtown Paia. (The one thing I will note is that we were disappointed they no longer have beach chairs that you can take with you to the beach. They do however have beach towels). We stayed here for 2 nights as a base for the Road to Hana and it worked out great for us.

Too short, but very Sweet !

My wife and I recently stayed here at this lovely condo in Paia. We were looking for a location that would be close to the airport for our return flight home, yet still comfortable enough for a few days of exploration and unique Maui experiences. This place was perfect for both these intents. Only 15 minutes by car to the airport made getting to our return flight fast and simple. Traffic on the main road through Paia does get crowded though, so be aware of that. And finding street parking or even lot space for your vehicle in town can also be a challenge. Go early, before 10am if possible. The condo itself is graciously located within walking distance to Mama's Restaurant, a beautiful beach and a great locale store/coffee shop called Ku'au Store (highly recommend!). You could also walk to the bustling business center of town from the unit, but keep in mind it will be along a busy stretch of highway without a sidewalk. Having a reserved parking space right outside the unit is a big plus ! Entry into the unit is by keyless entry code which makes it easy - no keys to fumble with or misplace! Inside the unit is quiet, clean and super modern with dimmable lights everywhere, ceiling fan over the bed, large refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, flat screen TV, bluetooth-connectable speaker, and adjustable A/C unit. A small balcony with table and 2 chairs allows eating with a view. Overall, a wonderful place to stay and I would certainly return !

Beautiful location in Maui

We loved the beautiful apartment which was just down the street from a beach with numerous sea turtles! The kitchen was well appointed and the apartment was located close to beaches and Paia. I especially appreciated the decor and paintings which added to the relaxed vibe. We would not hesitate to stay here again!
