We had a great stay. Some of the rooms are older, but we felt like it added to the charm of a "camp" bunking experience. The whole experience was a vibe, and we will be going back again soon. Also, love that there are no TVs.

The property is clean, well preserved, and is a historic California Land Mark. It is walkable to the ocean and 17 mile drive. The natural landscape entices native animals like dear to wonder on the property. The vegetation natives to the area gives a warm and natural landscape. The walk paths are easy for any level of hiker.

As a historical place, the rooms are rustic, but that pales in comparison to how great the location, grounds, access to the beach is. The CA State Park system is running this place very well.
