"Really cute and clean place with lots of Victorian appeal. The staff were super friendly and professional. It’s just one block from downtown, so it’s nice and quiet but still super easy to walk to shops and restaurants. The continental breakfast was tasty. Overall, a great stay — would definitely come back"

"We stayed in the Junior Cottage for less than $200/night. It was super cute, cozy and I wish we could have stayed longer. The reviews on Expedia and Google made us question committing to this place, so we viewed the cottage before we booked it. It was just fine, as advertised. The bathroom is a little dated and not great lighting but it was clean and functioned well. The fireplace was cute but it was too warm for us to use. No AC because that’s not a thing in Cali!! Great walk to the beach, less than 5 min walk. "

"Check in was quick and easy, very friendly staff, gave suggestions on where to eat. Room was freshly renovated, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast in the reception area was not expected but very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend and we would stay again if in the area. Thank you for a great stay"

"Booked a room last minute for reasonable price. Ideally located next to Asilomar and a short, pleasant walk to the Fishwife. Make sure to check in by 8:00 pm, we almost missed it. We would have enjoyed spending more time relaxing in and around the room, but we were helping to chaperone and drive a large group of high school kids who camped at Veteran's Park. I recommend this place if the price is right, and if you want to walk directly to beach or go bike riding. Aside from the Fishwife, it's a short jaunt to Pacific Grove downtown or to other chill restaurants/Safeway just up the hill by David and Highway 68."
