8/10 Good

"Clean room. Helpfull staff and ease of access. Would definitely stay again"

8/10 Good

"First time visiting this region, and the bush setting of this lodge is well designed and laid out. We booked the self-contained cabin with a private bathroom. I think it's the most suitable cabin for two people. Even though there is a pull-out bed which can accommodate two extra people. The room is not too big and is best suited for two people. I have previously emailed the lodge a couple of times before check-in but never once received a reply from the management After check- in, we had some issues with the touch pad to change the lighting and window settings. We went to the front desk and requested a maintenance person to come and inspect. We waited for more than 30 minutes, and no one showed up. At that point, I went to the front desk again to follow up but was told the staff had already been to our cabin, which was not true. Customer service in small rural locations in Indonesia is generally not great, and staff tends to work at a very slow pace."

Courtyard by Marriott Bandung Dago

10/10 Excellent

"Location of hotel…..most things are close by such as the cultural museum, bandros trolley (love this!) shopping etc etc Breakfast variety was awesome. And was so happy that there’s a barista for coffee. Staff at Momo Cafe was very helpful..shout out to Den Rohman who introduced us to “bandrek” …he even prepared us a sugarless version. Den Rohman also informed us where we could buy Tapai and would get it for us if we couldn’t find it… Momo Cafe : Ms Lutfiana -Lovely young staff who was so helpful with our queries and very informative about the food available at the cafe. And AFIFAH….helped us with ride hailing services, shopping areas, restaurants, where we could get reflexology, etc…. A totally amazing kindhearted super dedicated person. A good stay at the hotel with staff who made it better!!"

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Pacet?

The best area to stay in Pacet is generally the central area around the main road, Jalan Raya Pacet, particularly for its convenience and access to local attractions.

This central strip is where you'll find the highest concentration of guesthouses, small hotels, and local eateries. It's the most developed part of Pacet, offering easy access to the hot springs and the local market. While not a bustling city, this area provides a comfortable base for exploring the surrounding natural beauty.

Couples looking for a relaxing escape will find the guesthouses located slightly off Jalan Raya Pacet appealing. These often offer a more secluded setting with views of the surrounding hills, providing a tranquil environment superb for unwinding after a day of exploring the waterfalls or enjoying the hot springs.

For families, staying closer to the main road along Jalan Raya Pacet is a practical choice. Here, you're within easy reach of local restaurants and shops, making it simpler to find meals and essentials.

When is the best time to go to Pacet?

The best time to go to Pacet is during the dry season, which typically runs from May to September.

During these months, you can expect less rainfall and more sunshine, making it ideal for exploring the outdoor attractions around Pacet. The weather is generally pleasant, with warm days and cooler evenings, especially given Pacet's elevation. This period is superb for those looking to enjoy activities like hiking, visiting the hot springs, or simply taking in the mountain scenery without the interruption of heavy downpours.

Couples often find this time particularly appealing for a relaxing getaway. The clearer skies provide excellent opportunities for scenic drives and enjoying the natural beauty of the region together. You'll also find it easier to visit attractions like the local tea plantations and waterfalls.

For families, the dry season offers the most comfortable conditions for outdoor adventures. With less rain, children can freely enjoy activities such as exploring the local farms or spending time at the recreational parks.
