"We enjoyed our stay at the Royal Hotel. The location right on the seafront made it easy to enjoy walks and the views, and the staff were welcoming throughout our visit. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the hearty breakfast set us up well for the day. The hotel has a classic seaside charm, and it provided a pleasant base for exploring Whitley Bay and the surrounding area. Overall, it was a very good experience and we would be happy to stay again. "Lovely located 1930s house within easy walk of the fabulous beach. Comfortable bed in huge bay windowed upstairs room.Downstairs front bay windowed bedroom would make a lovely second reception/living room as back room is quite small with dining table in there along with L-shaped sofa and TV etc.There was a lot of personal food and toiletries left in the house, which was unusual, made it feel like you were staying in someone’s home rather than a rental.Hosts (Nick & Rodica) were lovely and accommodating and extended our last day until 1pm, which meant we had a nice relaxing morning on our last day. Many thanks! "
