Watch the iconic West Texas sunset and scenic views from the top of Mockingbird Hill! This newly constructed barndominium is perfect for a romantic getaway, family retreat, or an escape from the noise. Sip your coffee on the porch, prop your feet up, and relax, country style! Cozy open concept with lots of windows for viewing nature, hiking, playing games, or relaxing in the hot tub.

Beautiful kitchen fully stocked with all new appliances. Large pantry holds the microwave. Recommend bringing drinking water for your preference as this house is on well water. A small supply available upon arrival.

Sleeps 4 people. Queen bed in master bedroom. Private upstairs loft with 2 twin beds, has ladder access and low ceilings, perfect for older children or adults.

Spacious bathroom with bathtub, shower and vanity.

Living area features a sectional sofa, coffee table, sitting area, and dining table.

Wrap around patio with hot tub and space for outdoor games, grill, picnic table, and outdoor furniture.

Large gravel driveway.

Relaxing and Quiet

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a relaxing Valentine's weekend together, and we greatly enjoyed it. Very quiet and beautiful scenery. The place was very clean and the hot tub was a nice way to relax and unwind. The property manager was super nice and communicative. We would definitely stay again!

Off the beaten path

How perfect! Beautiful location about 20 min from Abilene which made this super peaceful and quiet. Surprisingly good internet. Gorgeous views to sit on the porch and just relax. Kitchen had all we needed. Spacious and confortable. Great way to spend Mother's day 2024 with two grown sons and one grandchild. We just hung out and enjoyed this getaway. For certain would stay again!

Property was great. Check in was great. Follow signs on Property for "the lodge" there are numerous driveways and roads. Place is on the top of the hill with spectacular views. Be prepared for rocky steep driveway and unpaved roads. Kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed the dark skies - we even brought our telescope. Definitely will come back
