"Best view in Nice. Very nice staff. The interior is a little tired but the building itself is one of the grand properties from the early twenties so you can forgive it being a little frayed at the edges. The only improvement that needs to be address is the carpeting in the rooms. It is stained in places and everyone would be better served if hard flooring took its place."

"Everything in the hotel is nice, clean, and has a pleasant ambiance. However, I recommend that the hotel add a few more amenities that other hotels offer as standard, such as a refrigerator and an iron. Apart from that, the hotel is in an excellent location. "

"No heating, no air conditioning. Floor extremely dirty, never got cleaned. No shampoo or shower cap in showers. Staff was helpful especially Alexandra, she was great!"

"Perfect room and location was brilliant. Breakfast was very good, and hotel clean. Only downside was when we arrived we were charged €150 for three people, we was told this was to cover incase anything was charged to the room from the restaurant or the bar. We had no intentions of doing this but still had to put this down as a deposit and it wasn’t listed in the fees when we booked so was an unexpected cost which wasn’t factored in. Yes it was returned upon checkout but took a chunk of budget out of the holiday spending which we didn’t factor in or cover to transfer extra over into euros from sterling."

"The hotel is in an excellent location. The staff was friendly, and the lobby was neat and clean. The room was large, and I loved the balcony views. The only issue was that there were no phone ports close to the bed. Neither did the bathroom have any electrical outlets. Other than these, everything was perfect. "

If you have cat allergy, three friendly cats guarding the tranquility of the hotel might not be your forte, but they don’t roam all the grounds, lobby is their usual hangout. Rooms are not very soundproof. Again, you get what you pay for, and for the price-quality ratio - I loved this hotel. Thank you to all the staff for making our weekend. "

"We had a beautiful relaxing stay, the views are magnificent and my children enjoyed having the pool all to themselves especially for those late night swims. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you can think of which was lovely. Everything is very close but you definitely need a car and to be a confident driver abroad. Liz and Quentin are wonderful people and full of knowledge and stories if you would like to chat or you can just go about your holiday and they will leave you be. "
