"This property was a major disappointment. The photos are heavily edited and don’t reflect the reality—shaky toilets, torn blinds, uncomfortable beds, and a serious bug problem made the stay unpleasant. The stairs are steep and unsafe, and the home is hard to access. The water behind the house is stagnant and only adds to the mosquito issue. Not worth the high price—would not recommend."

"We needed to book at trip at the last minute (2 days before, with dogs) and was very happy to find this available! The unit was just as expected and very clean. Beds were very comfortable. The location is walking distance to downtown Yorkeville (great food/bars, walking, etc) but also a park 2 blocks in the other direction so the dogs were very happy. Although we didn't use it, there was a garage we could have parked in. Check in went smoothly and communication with the Owner was easy. Check...

It was as advertised, clean but lived in, pristine no, but I found it perfect for what I was looking for. The host was always available to answer any questions I had and very friendly. "Window a/c was full of mold so the apartment smelled musky, no hot water the first night i was there.. the host did have the issues addressed.. bed fell apart in the middle of the night and mattress ended up on the floor… the dishes were not very clean! The dinner is only open 2 evening ls a week"
