"The staff were great and very helpful. The hotel carpet was very dirty though and they do not give slippers, luckily i had my own so i didn't have to step on the carpet at all. They also did not come and clean my room during the day? They have housekeeping so not sure why they didn't. Everything else was good. Tram is a 2 min walk and it's easy to get to the city centre from the hotel. "

"After I was able to locate the key ( a little tricky, lock box is on the left side of mail boxes and hard to see) And found the door they are for ( it has very little sign with the flat nick name) everything after that was easy like a breeze. . "This so-called Hotel was shut, locked, when we arrived in the evening of our booking. The “Emergency” telephone, advertised in large font outside the entrance, was nothing but an automated answer phone. No use at all. After one hour we gave up and set off in search of an alternative. We have still (2 days later) received no apology and no reply to e-mails. In short, this place is a disgrace."

"It was due to the other positive reviews that I found this Allegra Hotel. The hotel is nice, clean, affordable and conveniently close to the train station to go to Zurich, to the Lindt Home of Chocolate! The bus is a 3 min walk from the hotel and a 15 min ride to the airport. The staff is very helpful and personable, especially Noelle, Florenza and Manuela. The room is nice, clean and spacious, and the bed very comfortable. Kettle in our room for instant coffee or tea, there is also an expresso machine down in the lobby which is a welcome addition! We had delicious pizzas at Giadiono within waking distance of the hotel. Overall we really enjoyed our 2 nights at Allegra Lodge and highly recommend this place."
