Fair judgement

Compared to the cabin hostel in Tokyo I stayed before coming to this place, it was a bit uncomfortable. The cabin was warm at night and the bathrooms were not equipped with standing shower and a bit small for so many visitors. However, it was clean and fresh. I did not like the policy of closed door after 23:59 and this made it stressful at night being a foreign visitor in the city.

The place itself isn’t bad, but I found some of the rules a bit excessive, especially for a hotel that welcomes many international guests. To begin with, you have to leave your shoes in a locker at the entrance. I understand and respect local customs, but this could be handled in a more practical way. For showers, you need to go up to the 6th floor (by stairs or the only elevator available), and the bathing area is completely shared — you have to shower in front of other men and sit on small stools that everyone uses. In the morning, the sinks are often full of hair, which makes it difficult to maintain cleanliness when there are over 80 men staying there. My suggestion would be to create shower areas with at least some separation, where guests can shower standing up — it would be much more hygienic and comfortable for everyone. At 10 a.m., everyone must leave the room because cleaning starts, and it’s not allowed to stay inside. I’ve stayed in many hostels and shared spaces before and never had issues, but I honestly didn’t enjoy my experience here. I wouldn’t choose to stay again.
