Its location was incredible only 8 minutes from the train station with lots of great bakery and food spots nearby. It has a huge night life and regardless of being the type of hotel it is the rooms are amazing and spacious. Staff was incredibly respectful and helpful! Highly recommended
Big room. Big comfortable bed. Yes, it’s a love hotel but was the best room for the money of our 14 day Japan trip! Quiet, convenient location in the center of Umeda night life. Near the gayborhood and LGBT friendly.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Bed was pretty comfortable (a bit firm but not bad) amazing tub and shower. Beautiful room. Very clean. Friendly staff. Keep in mind it's a love hotel for adults so you have to call when you need let in and out of your room. It was so fun though
My stay at The Hotel Lotus was wonderful. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I slept like a baby at night with air circulation on me. The bathing area is hugh with stand up shower beside the jacuzzi tub. The staff were all friendly as well. Overall, a wonderful three nights stay.
The walls could use a dust but besides that my room was pretty clean the bath was amazing and the amenities this place offers is un-matched! Anything you need and I mean anything you can get delivered to your room. Yes it’s strange at first but I quickly became very impressed with the service !!
If you dream of being locked in a tiny room with only the smells (and possibly sights) of the previous inhabitants bodily fluids then this is the place for you! Special treats are the free hairs invading all surfaces, a metal door that clangs shut and that can only be unlocked by calling reception, and clumps of mould with your water. For locals in heat, this is the place to be. For tourists, avoid like the plague you might contract from the bedsheets.
Excellent location 10 mins walk from the station. Lovely friendly staff, and they upgraded us to a larger room free of charge, as our original room was a little compact. We would definitely stay there again.
This property is a bit quirky with the decor and no windows, but I had a great stay and would stay again the next time that I am Iin Osaka. It’s very high tech and had a a jacuzzi and a lot of little toiletries to go along with it. I for the free breakfast delivered to my room in the mornings which was nice and very good. I was concerned about having to call the receptionist every time I wanted to leave, but someone was always there to open the door even at 6 AM so it wasn’t much of an issue for me. The location is fantastic in terms of shopping and accessing public transit. I was even able to walk to and from the Airport Limousine stop (about a 10 ninute walk).
Once you get over having to ring reception every time you wish to leave your room, you will really enjoy the experience. The bed was comfortable and the bathing room luxurious, but I was too scared to open the cloth bag on the shelf behind the bed. :-) Breakfast was small but filling.

We booked this property for one night so we didn’t have to take the bullet train back to Tokyo, where we were staying primarily for our trip. This hotel was absolutely beautiful and very convenient! It was actually a lot nicer than the hotel we booked in Tokyo (and cheaper)! The staff was super friendly, and the check-in and check-out was extremely quick. There are tons of amenities and little travel sized items in the room for your needs as well. The bed was also much softer than the bed in our other hotel lol. There are a bunch of shops and restaurants directly beside the hotel. We would highly recommend staying here for the night if you come to visit Osaka! It is also only 4 miles from Universal Studios!

Need to solve issues on locked room doors. But otherwise clean and convenient
A truly unique experience. Excellent location for trains and exploring on foot. Bold decoration. Breakfast was delicious and brought to your room. No communal area. The weird thing was there was no key to your room. Access was controlled by a timed magnetic lock that was released by reception. You were locked in your room and had to phone reception every time you wanted to leave. Very disconcerting; and a sock was soon employed to keep the door a far.
This was definitely an interesting experience. The property doesn’t have key cards for rooms so the room door auto locks and you have to call front desk to leave or come back in. The room is also extremely tiny. However, there is a wonderful jacuzzi in every room, and the staff is really nice and helpful. It has a lot of “happy surprises”. A very interesting and overall positive experience.
