Lovely room, absolutely massive. Location was great, right next to Dotonbori and the shopping district. Especially for the price it was such a surprise. An issue we had with other hotels was rubbish bins, this hotel had ample bins for us to throw stuff away. Staff were so attentive, so lovely and even just allowed an early check-in without any charge. Would highly, highly recommend staying here and if we’re ever back in Osaka would stay here everytime.

We stayed in the room that could accommodate six even though there was only four of us. There was plenty of space which we appreciated. Good value for the price. The AC took a while to figure out since you had to use the remote and to make sure to point at the unit or it won't work. Also good to have the washing machine included.

Positives: location - close to transit, dotonbori, great restaurant, especially Utsuke Urahori! They had the best omakase! Also did not like the deodorizer used in the room. It was very strong. Negatives: pillows were too firm, no dryer but no real good drying area, lack of security, only 1 key to access the room.

Good for families

We were traveling with a group of 5 (2 kids, 3 adults) which was harder to find accommodations for. Sakuragawa Riverside Hotel was able to fit us comfortably in one room with space to spread out. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice view of the river.

Amazing stay

We are amazed by the easy check in and cleanliness of the room. Room is big with 2 queen beds and 1 single bed. Comfortable for a family of 5. Hotel is walking distance to Dontori and a many restaurants. It is also walking distance to the bus terminal where you can buy same day airport ticket to Kansai international airport.

The hotel is in a good location, within walking distance to Dotonburi and Namba. There are several restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Sakuragawa subway is about 250m away, with easy access to Shin-Osaka via Namba. The room was very big by Japanese standards, and well equipped with a full size fridge and microwave.

Very clean & Great price

Very clean and the instructions were easy to follow. We had the 5 beds in 1 room. It was close fit but everything worked fine. It's about a 10-15 min walk to Dotonburi. We would stay here again.

Nice, spacious hotel right on the river. A few blocks away from the busy area which is nice if you want it a little quieter. Close to a couple different train stations, too. My only complaint is they didn't have an iron for my clothes. Other than that, would definitely recommend
