Okay Place, But Be Aware of Certain Things

The Ryokan was well maintained and we were pleased with the facilities overall. Two things to keep in mind: 1) the rooms are cleaned once every two days, so don't expect sheets to be changed every day. They do change the towels, at least, but it was never clear to us whether we had to take out our own garbage (we did it because it was still there after two days). 2) hotel staff don't seem to be present. No one was there when we checked in or out, or anytime we were there over the course of a three night stay, and we had to do a self check in and dropped off the key in a box on the way out. This isn't clear from the description, and can be unnerving if you're visiting an unfamiliar city/place. The room was spacious, at least, and you can use an Apple TV that is in the room (just log in with your apple ID). Shower was very nice. We had to sleep on the tatami floor with a very thin cushion, but it was okay. But some may not be as keen to sleep this way. The stay was okay, but we probably wouldn't book again.

清潔感のある部屋でとても満足でした。 でもシャワーを使う際にお湯が出るのに5分程度時間がかかった。それ以外はとてもよかったです。

Terrible location

We did not like the location of this property at all it did not feel safe so we booked another hotel and stayed there instead. The people seemed friendly but there was a bit of rubbish around the foyer.

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt an der Metro und die JR Stationen Shin Imamiya und Tennoji können Fußläufig innerhalb von 20 Minuten erreicht werden. Auch in der Umgebung gibt es genug Einkaufsmöglichkeiten um sich zu versorgen. Die angestellten waren super freundlich und standen einem die ganze Zeit zur Seite wenn man mal Hilfe benötigte. Ganze 2 Wochen habe ich hier verbracht und bereue es definitiv nicht !

Ryokan Hanare is between Hanazonocho Metro Station (6 mins' walk) and Tengachaya Station (8 mins' walk). From Hanazonocho Station, you can get to Namba, the center of Osaka's dining and nightlife district, by metro in about 10 mins. Tengachaya Station has a direct line to the airport (the Nankai-Airport line), so it's fairly easy for arrivals and departures. The hotel is in a Shoten Gai (a shopping street under a dome) in Tennoji Ward. The neighborhood is not the most picturesque, but at night, it comes alive with Izakayas, Ramen shops, and eateries, so it's easy to eat nearby if you come back late from sightseeing. The staff is courteous, friendly, and very helpful. There's always someone who speaks English to answer questions and give you tips. The hotel is also pretty close to Sumiyoshi-Taisha, one of the well-known Osaka shrines.

感覺得到貼心的備品

雖然沒有電梯,但可以感覺得到備品和擺設的用心,離地鐵不遠,四人房型的上下舖設計,很適合四人出遊但不方便睡雙人床的朋友,整體來說是我會回住的旅社

온천 없는 료칸으로 시내에서 멀지 않으나 방안에 포트도 없고 전통 료칸식 방도 아니어서 많이 실망스러웠음. 위치도 구석에 있어 아는 사람만 아는..,현지인도 잘 모르는 곳으로 비추천합니다.

充滿日式風情的旅館

旅館超漂亮!!! 接待人員也都很親切， 位於商店街附近， 有便利商店與許多餐廳可供選擇， 搭南海電鐵往來機場可直達不必轉車， 也有地下鐵可轉更多線， 到京都基本上也不需轉車， 交通來說算是很方便的地點。 但旅館離天下茶屋站走路約要10-15分鐘 旅館內無電梯 若提著重行李或是趕車的人較為吃力， 推薦給背包客或購物慾望低的旅客!

Need improvement on the cleanliness, in particular the bed area. very dusty. Location not that strategic and very quiet in the evening, not feeling safe walking back from the subway station. Shower/ toilet are typically small in Japan, but this one is super compact, the size is slightly larger than those on the plane.
