This hotel was very clean, a the staff were very professional. This is in the business district, so the surrounding area was very clean and safe. The onsite onsen was amazing. The complimentary ramen at night was a nice bonus. The breakfast you can purchase was very delicious. Just a few stops away from the hustle and bustle of Dotonbori but way cleaner and quieter. Walking to Osaka Castle was a nice stroll.

The location of the hotel is very convenience, just a couple minutes walk to Kitahama station. There is a 7-11 just a few steps away and there is also a market on the way down to Kitahama station as well.

We stayed here for six nights and had a great experience overall. The staff were friendly, the amenities were excellent, and the onsen was a real highlight. We especially enjoyed the complimentary ramen, ice cream, and soft drinks in the evening. The massage chairs were a nice touch, and the room felt quite spacious by Japan standards. The sheets were comfortable, and having fresh towels every day was appreciated. Overall, this was noticeably better than other standard Dormy Inns we’ve stayed at in the past. Our only real complaint was the rock-hard pillows, which caused some back discomfort and that housekeeping is not offered for the entirety of the stay unless you pay $15 each time it is requested. Also, a small suggestion: the same 8-bar loop of background music plays constantly throughout the hotel and can get a bit repetitive after a while. That said, the hotel offers excellent value for the price, and we’d happily stay here again.

Nice hot spring and sauna which makes this chain the best hotel chain in Japan but the breakfast, the nightly noodles, are also appealing for sure! Very convenient location with close vicinity to Kitahama station (Osaka Metro) and Yodoyabashi station (Midosuji-Line). Also walking distance (1mile) to Osaka Castle. Will stay here again for sure!
