We enjoyed the area, it was youthful and lovely. It might not be as comfortable for families with young children. Despite the lively neighbourhood, our room was quiet. The coffee provided for our room was awesome. It was easy to get around everywhere, Dotonbori and train stations were easily walkable.
The staff and the property itself is really good and well maintained. Keep in mind this is right in the America Mura Street so it can get a bit lively on the weekend especially staying with kids like we did. The toilet and the shower/sink being in separate areas was a bit hard to work with.
This is a very basic hotel but it was very clean. I don’t need anything fancy so it was perfect for me. Walking distance to Dotonbori with lots of delicious food options. Good price.
Room was large, comfortable and clean. Had housekeeping everyday and location was good however Amemura is more youth rugged. Bathroom and toilet were seperate and decent in size. We were a family of 4 which was very good for us and hotel was very accomodating with late check out. Close to dotonburi and shinsaibashi shopping area.
For the price everything was good besides the unique Key room even for a group.
I hope they fix those issues as soon as possible.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
There was about a 7 inch step to climb into the bathroom. We did not have a tape measure, but you could stack two rolls of toilet paper on each other. It was the weirdest design. The toilet was in one room and the sink was in a different room across a gap with the same 7 inch step. The location was very good and the staff were very helpful. There were three laundry machines, and one was out of commission which prolonged the time to get it done. They do not have regular TV programming, but you can login and stream shows if you have a service. They do have stairs and a ramp in front. The tiled ramp looked precarious to me so I always used the stairs. If you are only looking for a good location, this is a great hotel for you.
I had a great last minute stay at this hotel! I gave it the highest rating for the low price and premium location. We were stuck at another hotel too far away from the area this hotel was in and had already paid in advance but hated it so much we looked online and found this perfectly located hotel with all the access to the stores and coffee shops we wanted. It’s in a lively part of town and in walking distance to the Glico man and all the neon lights!!! We loved being in the center of all the action. They also stored our bags before check-in and after check-out so we could make the most of our time here, that was a sweet free bonus we were not expecting!! Great for a budget, clean room and Netflix. Oh and the shower water pressure was a really nice surprise. We were pleasantly surprised with how happy we were with this place and our situation. Walking distance to Pokemon center and any train station you would need!!!
Stayed here with my teenage daughter for 5 days. We choose this hotel because the rooms are larger than others. The staff here are friendly and helpful, however the rooms and facilities are very basic. There are signs of wear and tear and a general lack of TLC.
This hotel is located in lively neighborhood. Close to a lot of places. We can see triangle park from our room. Young people just hanging out there until midnight. Hotel staff are very friendly especially Yuki. Room is a bit small. Can’t complain that we are in Japan. Very clean. It is good enough for us. If you want to stay at quiet neighborhood, this is not for you.
