"Our visit to Sardinia was marred by this unsuitable property. The instructions for the location and how to get in were given only when we landed in Sardinia 1.5 hours before accessing despite asking several times in the days previously. We gave our ETA and we’re still left waiting and then we were hastily let in shown where we couldn’t go. The house is divided so only 2/3 is available the other is a lock up storage and used by the owners which was visited during our visit. There is no dining room or sitting room. The small kitchen is the only communal indoor space and has very tall stools with no leg room round a work surface. There are no tables indoors. The automatic lawnmower came on a 430am until we disabled it. Generators, strimmers, angle grinders and chainsaws were used all day as this house is the middle of the owners horticultural business. We had to stay out of the house all day and could not use the garden due to the incessant noise. The only eating areas with chairs are outside. The power tools meant we couldn’t talk to each other or relax during the day. The irrigation (which started at 7am) for the garden caused the garden to be boggy so couldn’t be used until evening. This was a haven for mosquitoes. The cat ate our food, walked on food preparation surfaces and constantly tried to get in until we asked for it to be removed. Glass is cracked in the kitchen and bathroom and the door handle fell off. "

"Great hotel. Need to upgrade the bedroom TV to Smart Tv. Also there’s no much communication about what attractions are available daily as there’s dancing class etc. we felt like we were not invited in that place. Also the hotel charged me an extra charge of £180 and didn’t explain why. There’s a coffee machine in the room but there’s no coffee or sugar or milk. There’s a very good room service to clean and change towels every day if you want too. Another negative point in that you must by a top up card supplied by the hotel to use in their bar or restaurant which I think it put people off like me as we like freedom to by what we want and not what we’re told. Also the swimming pool has no information about the depth and can be fatal. The garden throughout is amazingly maintained and the whole place is amazing but just not for us. It’s perfect for someone looking for resort indoors activities only. Breakfast could also improve. All services staff were amazing respectful and very friendly. Italians are amazing people. "

"Such a beautiful property in such a beautiful location. It is so peaceful. Lovely pool and surrounding area. The beach is amazing and close by. The property is extremely well cleaned and all of the staff are so helpful. Would definitely recommend this place and would like to stay here again in the future."

"We arrived 00:15. Front desk was still staffed (apparently 24/7). Street parking was the main isdue with the hotel apprarently being near full and it being late."

" The location is beautiful and peaceful — exactly what we wanted — but the service is not at 4-star level. Staff are kind but clearly overstretched. We were charged €8/day for parking with no alternative, which should really be included. Breakfast starts only at 8AM with no early option, and no water or coffee machine in the rooms. The spa was advertised but was unavailable during our stay, with no prior notice. The pool bar opened only after 1PM. The biggest surprise was the coffee: machine coffee was poor, and my first cappuccino tasted of salty water (likely tap water). Though the waiter apologised and fixed it the next day, this is unacceptable in an Italian 4-star resort. Staff also had loud arguments near guests. Room cleaning was basic: towels were changed but sheets weren’t, and floors weren’t properly cleaned. The food menu is very limited and expensive. Worst of all, during checkout they tried to charge us more than double (including parking again and items we didn’t order). Only after I asked to check the bill was it corrected. Beautiful setting, but the service, transparency, and quality need major improvement"
