"We thought the host was exceptional. Very friendly and helpful. Wanting to please and help any way she could. We had to arrive late and she waited for us to arrive. Our room was very clean as was the bathroom. She did offer to wash up some clothes for us as we are traveling on the road. I did notice the laundry as one of the amenities however to us that means an available washed and dryer to use. Understanding now here in Italy that means a washing machine and hang to dry. "Excellent location for the beaches at Punta Prosciutto but you do need a car. Accommodation is basic but very clean and for £50 a night is a bargain. We stayed in 4 locations in Puglia and samana had by far the best breakfast. Simone who runs the place was friendly and helpful. Would stay there again. "

"The property looks amazing but a lot what you see on the images doesn’t come true during a normal stay. I had a superior triple room. We were lucky that we only had a child with because the room was tiny. We complained and all rooms are apparently the same size. I think images are only of exclusive bridal suites. The pool that isn’t square on the images is closed and only for weddings. Other pool is good and lively. That was the key highlight. Wouldn’t go back"

Very unique hotel
"Beautiful old building that has been turned into a hotel. A welcome cocktail started the visit and they were able to park our car for us so we didn’t have to be bothered with it. The rooms were very different with high arched ceilings. We were on the top floor so there were a lot of steps which were not an issue but some people might struggle with that. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. All of the staff were very helpful! "
