"The cabin is beautiful and immaculate. We stayed in the cabin most of the time; is quiet and cozy. We wish the bed was bigger and comfy but, other than that it was a good experience. We stayed there from April 15 to 18; the weather was perfect and we saw a big bear in the woods which made our stay even more exciting y (pictures and video were taken). "My son was graduating from PSU, so we rented this cabin for the weekend. The house was beautiful and had all amenities that we needed. The views were amazing. Definitely need four wheel drive for the driveway, but so worth it for the view. 1/4 mile down the road was the 3 pond trail. We did this Sunday morning and encountered a momma bear and her three cubs, such a great experience. Loved everything about our stay!"

"We really enjoyed the chalet, super clean and very new. The lake is so peaceful and beautiful, we spent so much time on the balcony with the kiddos looking at the water. Wish the weather cooperated a bit more so we could enjoy the fire pit area but it was still really nice. I’d recommend this place as a quiet retreat or as an option during the ski season for sure. The owners have thought of everything, drawers are labeled, nothing is left to chance, everything is squeaky clean YET it feels like home. We stayed at Benton House the weekend my daughter defended her PhD at Dartmouth and the owners were kind enough to allow a small get-together at the house. The property is park like yet centrally located and a quick rail trail walk to Lucky’s (home of the best breakfast sandwich in the world)...
