About this property

Caribou Cabin – Fireside & Hot Tub Retreat

  • Escape to this newly renovated Mountain Lakes cabin! Unwind in the high-end hot tub under the stars, gather by the outdoor firepit, or relax with woodland views from the 3-season porch. Inside, cozy up in stylish décor with wood ceilings, quartz counters, and stainless appliances. Surrounded by trees on a private double lot with access to lakes, pool, and trails. Just off the scenic Kancamagus Hwy, minutes from skiing, hiking, and shops—perfect for a White Mountains getaway!

This cozy modern-rustic cabin features a bright open living space with vaulted tongue-and-groove ceilings, dimmable LED lighting, and large windows overlooking the woods. The living room flows into a fully updated kitchen with quartz counters, stainless steel appliances, a 5-burner range, dishwasher, and all the essentials—pots, pans, utensils, dishes, glassware, coffee maker, toaster, and more. A washer and dryer are tucked neatly into the kitchen area for convenience.

The master bedroom includes a queen bed, matching lamps and tables, a leather bench, wildlife artwork, vintage décor touches, and multiple large mirrors. A second bedroom offers a daybed for flexible sleeping space, while the full bathroom provides a tub/shower, vanity, towels, and bathroom essentials.

Step outside to enjoy the three-season porch with French doors, vaulted wood ceilings, ceiling fan, comfortable seating, and sweeping private views of the backyard woods. Just beyond, relax in the hot tub beside a privacy fence, or enjoy a meal on the front deck’s picnic table.

Guests have full access to the entire cabin, including the living room, kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom, and laundry. Outside, enjoy the front deck with picnic table, the private backyard, the three-season porch, and the hot tub.

We split our time between New Hampshire and Massachusetts, so we may be around during your stay. If not, our full-time property manager is nearby and available to assist with anything you need.

The cabin is located in the Mountain Lakes community, a private four-season recreation area with something for everyone. Guests can enjoy newly built downhill mountain bike trails—host to multiple competitions each year—plus tennis courts, basketball, a lodge, playgrounds, and hiking paths. In summer, relax at the pool or on one of several sandy beaches, with opportunities for swimming, fishing, kayaking, and canoeing on the lakes.

It’s a true outdoor playground just steps from your door. Parking is easy with a private driveway right at the cabin. The Mountain Lakes community is walkable for the pool, lodge, and beaches, though most guests prefer to drive. Local stores and restaurants are just 10 minutes away in Woodsville. Major attractions like Loon and Cannon Mountain ski areas are a short drive, and having a car is recommended to explore the White Mountains.

We’ve equipped the cabin with everything you need for a comfortable stay—kitchen essentials, cookware, utensils, linens, and more. There’s a washer/dryer for your use and a private hot tub just steps away. Nestled in the woods, it’s a quiet, private getaway—perfect for unplugging, though Wi-Fi is available if you’d like to stay connected.
