"Great location and great outdoor space. Home had plenty of space for 4 adults and 4 kids with enough pillows and linens. Could be better stocked. Clean. We fished, swam, floated and boated and set up a movie by the fire pit. We had a great time! There is so much waterfront here. Bring your own ANYTHING you need for cooking (salt, pepper, olive oil), grill utensils (they supplied plenty of propane), baking sheets, large serving bowls, laundry and dishwasher tabs, oven mits, bug spray, “pool”...

"The property was perfect for my four year old son and my stay. We were able to easily walk to the white oak canyon trailhead which was our goal. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Nothing fancy, just country living. We went out to eat at Graves mountain lodge as well as the Bavarian Chef, and recommend both of them. "

"One (probably the smallest) of several lodgings on the property. Overall, a pretty cool place to stay. The whole unit has a subtle sway to rock you to sleep. Personally, I loved it. We stayed in 90 degree weather and the A/C was a LIFESAVER. My only real complaint was one of the other guests in the castle kept leaving the common kitchen a bit messy. Thinking about coming back and trying the hobbit house. We pretty much kept to ourselves, but there are plenty of common areas to hang out."

"Outside of road closure and us getting there in the dark and spotty cell phone coverage - so we had a hard time finding the place - BUT once we got there - it’s just as adorable as the pics - the home is so comfortable and everything is well laid out - steps to loft are a little steep so you need to be careful - but it was a wonderful stay! Had such a great time and very private, which is exactly what we were looking for!! Thank you! "

"Rooms are always in excellent condition if you have a surgery scheduled at Martha Jefferson Hospital this is the best hotel to stay at we didn't even get checked out today came back after the doctor visit to stay another night checked right back into the same room the staff is wonderful parking lot is well lit and the pool was extremely nice we have stayed here multiple multiple times and are always will satisfied"
