Good location, very good services
Almost everything was ok. We were not entirely satisfied with the room, because we paid extra for one with a view, we got worse than the one our friends bought without a view. But in general, the cleanliness and service of the hotel of the highest quality.

Avoid. This former casino still operates like one.
Hotel Paris will try and nickle-and-dime you. It's a bait and switch operation. They have low room prices to get you in the door, and then surprise you with fees for every little thing without even telling you there is a cost until checkout. And the prices are made up on the spot, since nothing is posted either. I've seen other customer reviews with widely varying pricing for parking. You are probably better off staying somewhere else, it will probably save you money.

A happy visit to Opatija.
We were a family visiting Opatija with our dog. We occupied three rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful. They recommended a restaurant right on the sea and made us a reservation for dinner and a birthday celebration. We were completely satisfied and loved the abundant breakfast in the hotel the next morning. A small suggestion:parking in the garage needs to be better regulated.

Il giorno in cui siamo arrivati abbiamo avuto una pessima impressione del personale, poco disponibile e a tratti maleducato. In particolare, la sera ci siamo avvicinati al bancone del bar e la barista ci ha ignorato completamente, nonostante l’avessimo salutata più volte, per poi andare a chiacchierare con il receptionist. Dopo diversi minuti in attesa al bancone, siamo andati a chiedere loro se il bar fosse aperto e ci è stato detto che qualcuno sarebbe arrivato subito a servirci. Dopo aver atteso ancora alcuni minuti al bancone è arrivato un altro cameriere che in maniera poco gentile ci ha detto che il bar era chiuso. Siamo quindi usciti per una passeggiata e al nostro rientro abbiamo visto la barista preparare dei cocktail. Per il resto, la camera era nella norma, un po’ logora la moquette. La colazione molto abbondante anche se non tutto di ottima qualità. Spa piccola ma molto curata, pulita e con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo (15 euro un’ora e mezza). Parcheggio a pagamento (20 euro garage e 15 fuori). Il receptionist che ci ha fatto il check out era simpatico, al contrario del personale incontrato il primo giorno.

Very decent hotel in the center of Opatija, I've stayed over in this town many times in other hotels, so this was a first try, always having (negatively) associated this hotel with it's slot machine casino. But it turned out to be very decent, with a helpful and friendly staff and comfortable rooms, in my case with a great view from the 5th floor. The breakfast could have been slightly more diverse, the coffee was frankly not that good. But all in all, a good experience, I'll be coming back here!

- Frühstück nicht gut, Müsli hat geschimmelt, Omelette schien vom Vortag zu sein. - Nach knapp 2 Tagen eine unerwartete Rechnung fürs Parken von knapp 50€ bekommen, obwohl es nicht kommuniziert wurde. - Zimmer nur sehr oberflächlich gereinigt. ( unter anderem Müll im Bad der Vormieter, Bett wurde nicht einmal gemacht, trotz beseitigen des Mülles) - Kein guter, bis nicht vorhandener Service - Rezeption selten besetzt. - Weit weg von 4 Sternen.

Wähle ein anderes Hotel!!!
Wir hatten ein Dreibettzimmer gebucht und bezahlt. Die Couch war weder ausgezogen noch mit Bettzeug ausgestattet. Das Abendessen war einfach schlecht. Komplett ungwürzt, billigste Zutaten und selbst der Koch hat von Speisen abgeraten. Das Casino ist komplett verraucht und an die Klimaanlage "angeschlossen ". Im Nichtraucher Zimmer wird durch die Anlage der Gestank hereingeblasen. Die Parksituation ist ein Witz. Für 20 Euro wird das Auto so eingeparkt, dass es fast unmöglich war wieder raus zu kommen. So viel Ärger macht den Urlaub nicht entspannt. Der Speisesaal ist ohne Fenster.

Déçu de cet hôtel, fortes odeurs de cuisine dans le hall et réception, moisissures dans la douche, déjeuner vraiment minimum, pas de place dans le parking et difficultés pour changer 20 euros pour payer le parking public ! Mais la litterie est bonne et les infrastructures dans les standards d'aujourd'hui pour ceux qui pensent que je suis pas objectif 😉

Obwohl ich ein nicht sehr anspruchsvoller Gast bin, hat das Hotel leider gar nicht meinen Erwartungen entsprochen. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist mäßig freundlich und wusste für die schlechte Parkplatz Situation keine Lösung obwohl es ein paar hundert Meter weiter eine Parkgarage gab. Man wurde auch nie begrüßt wenn man das Hotel betreten oder verlassen hat. Die Halbpension würde ich keinem Empfehlen, hier handelt es sich leider um geschmackloses Kantinenessen. Das Frühstück ist für ein 4 Sterne Hotel auch etwas schwach. Das Internet ist im gesamten Hotel so schlecht und langsam das man es nicht nutzen kann. Die Zimmer sind von der Einrichtung recht schön, wobei das Kartenmodul für den Strom so hell blinkt das man mit leichten Schlaf nicht sehr glücklich wird. Für den Whirlpool (Spa) muss man extra 15€ bezahlen für 90 Minuten Nutzung das ist abnormal. Also Gesamt meines Erachtens absolut schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Ich werde dieses Hotel sicher nicht wieder buchen.

La mia esperienza è stata pressoché positiva presso questa struttura, e sicuramente la consiglierei. Unica nota strutturale, a mio parere, negativa: il fatto di avere la porta del salone CASINÒ, vicino alla zona ristorante, sempre aperta, da dove esce uno sgradevole odore di fumo (da sigaretta), togliendo così qualità al ristorante stesso presso il quale ho trovato un buon buffet sia per la cena che per la colazione. Un consiglio per il titolare: una porta scorrevole automatizzata, o il divieto di fumo in sala CASINÒ.

Rien à signaler, la chambre semblait fraîchement rénové mais les travaux non finis... quand tu dois brancher les lampes dans les prises électriques... bien que nous étions au 8 ième étage, on entendait le chanteur du bar extérieur voisin malgré les fenêtres fermées. On nous a fait stationner dans la ruelle extérieure à l’arrière à gros prix, alors qu’il y a un stationnement intérieur qui semblait vide. Service ordinaire, le personnel ne semble pas intentionné.

Das Hotel ist noch nicht ganz fertig, Feuerlöscher stehen noch am Boden herum, 5 "blinde" Lichtschalter im Zimmer und das einzige Licht, eine Nachttischlampe muss man direkt einschalten. Ansonsten war es aber sehr schön und modern. Lage ist auch gut, das Frühstück OK.

L'hotel non è pronto, la spa con sauna a pagamento promessa è ancora in costruzione (ed era il motivo principale della scelta), come gran parte dell'hotel, la camera piccola seppur confortevole al V piano presenta un bagno con una bella doccia in cui non c'è pressione d'acqua e purtroppo quella poca arriva fredda, la colazione è discreta.. le chiavi sono metalliche non digitali, il wifi è latitante... insomma da chiedere il rimborso.....
