We arrived after nearly 30 hours after leaving Australia. I explained to the front desk staff that we were in need of an early check-in to attend local meetings etc. The manager and staff immediately found rooms for us, even though they said people were slow checking out that day. I returned to this hotel 30 years after my last visit. Can praise the staff and hotel enough.

Lovely big clean room. A bit difficult to find but go through the pub and up to the first floor and you will find reception. Sign posting could be better from the road

Right on the lake with beautiful views from the front bedrooms and breakfast room. The room had absolutely everything!! Comfortable bed, good shower, thoughtful additions. Beautifully appointed. Breakfast was delicious. Homemade everything from cinnamon sultana porridge to home made jams, omelette or pancakes and much more. Marvellous. A wonderful stay. Thankyou...

We arrived a little early to this magnificent property. We were welcomed in to the beautiful sitting room to wait for our room to be ready. Such lovely helpful staff, and so friendly and welcoming.
The room was amazing, and we also spent time in the sitting room in the evening, playing cards with the fire kindly lit for our benefit.
This is a little piece of the history, well worth a stay to experience it.
