"The location is great for Lake Michigan. Super close to multiple beaches. The house was spacious and the backyard was great. The house itself could use some work. It was pretty dirty when we arrived. Super dusty living room, the top of the fridge had used plastic ware and cups on top. Most of the dishes felt unclean. We washed dishes before we used them. There were crumbs on the kitchen floor. Stains on the bedding. The towels were very old in the bathrooms. The trim has never been finished in the bathroom. Water had to be all the way on hot to take a shower. Carpets are stained. Overall, just felt very "used" or like you were staying at grandmas house that hadn't been cleaned well. The fan in the master was caked with dust."

"Beautifully remodeled cottage with ample supplies and the most luxurious toilets! Beautiful scenery, excellent layout, the most comfortable beds, and simplicity with decorations which made it an easy house to have kids roaming around! Walking around the property was a lot of fun and made for an adventure with the kids. Very easy to get to the beach to enjoy the most incredible sunsets. Very relaxing front porch and ample room in the driveway. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful stay West Michigan! "

"Overall we enjoyed our stay and made good memories as a family, we stayed for an extended fall break weekend. Something to be sure to note is the absence of heating and air. They provided extra space heaters for us and I saw they have plenty of fans. Make sure this works for your group. The company that lists this home has great professionalism and communication. They were sure to remedy any issues we had and provided thorough details for us before our stay. The beach and views are absolutely stunning! Stairs are sturdy and easy to navigate. We were able to walk very long beach walks and the houses surrounding are well cared for. We enjoyed the sunsets so much and saw a bald eagle up close. You are in a great spot for antiquing, many restaurants nearby, parks nearby- ample things to do and groceries within 10 minutes. The WiFi was strong and the smart tv easy to connect to. Recommend this spot for those who enjoy a little more rustic feel to a home. The sound of the waves with the windows open is truly relaxing and nature’s beauty is hard to beat! "

"We had the most amazing stay at this property on Lake Michigan! Calm, relaxing, serene. Everything you’d want in a dreamy Lake Michigan getaway. Down to the last detail, this home had everything beautifully designed and decorated. Also: THE BEDS WERE AMAZING. Don’t listen to the review that said they are hard. They are very cushy and comfortable beds. Perfect family getaway for us. I think we may have to make this an annual tradition, because it was so wonderful. "

"A very well maintained older property (like if your grandparents had a super cute lake cabin growing up). Clean and stocked with everything you would reasonably need. Ideally situated on Lake Michigan, with lake views from most rooms. Nice open concept living room/kitchen/dining area, perfect for socializing. But the best part was the profound sense of peace and tranquility felt while there. And the property management company was fantastic."
