"The pool was broken last year we went to the Pomroy, heater broken again a year later. No advertising on the website to warn you of this. Kids were very disappointed, staff apologized but seem use to it being broken. Sad."

"My room was dirty when I went into it. They had to call housekeeping to come back and clean it and I had to wait. Booked months in advance, I would think that some kind of check and balance system to make sure rooms are ready would be in place. The place is decently clean and not terrible, but certainly dated. You’re getting exactly what you pay for. "

"The room was clean and daily service was perfect. The staff was all incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent, good variety and good start and end times. Pool and hot tub were a hit with my kids and it never got busy which was nice."

"The room was clean and well kept. We were happy there was a room available late on a Saturday and have no complaints about the property or staff. We needed to be in Red Deer but this was closest with a space and perfectly suited our needs. We would stay here again… we would just stop here first instead of having to drive backwards to it lol! ;)"

"Up charged a significant amount for the weekend. Overflowing garbage bins were right outside the door, making it so windows couldn’t be opened due to the smell. Poorly maintained. The room had multiple plastered holes in the wall. The furniture was stained and dirty. Every step and movement from upstairs could be heard in the room."

"To be clear, this is a two star hotel with minimal amenities. Having said that, it is very well maintained. The rooms are very modern, the beds are of high-quality and the breakfast was very good. The staff and manager of the hotel are very flexible, responsive and friendly. This is definitely a hotel that we will visit again."

"The breakfast that was included was very good. The restaurant along side the hotel was Boston Pizza with an excellent lunch menu. They were able to switch us from a room with kingsize bed to two queen size beds at no additional charge which was much more comfortable for two."
