"My 2 kids and I loved our stay down town steamboat. The location was great with all the shoppes and restaurants downstairs. We had coffee shops, great food and shopping within the block. The city bus to Steamboat resort was super quick and easy. The stop was just a 2 minute walk. One of the best perks was the ski locker right at the resort. "It’s a great location! So close to great restaurants and little shops. The free express bus to the mountain was super reliable. Just remember to look at the schedule. Also, take and wait for the express bus. We also rented skis at the mountain through a concierge service/company. They kept our boots (which we brought) and the skis so all we needed to bring was our helmet, etc. Only piece that could have gone better was that I didn’t receive check in instructions until 4 hours before.
