"I needed an accessible room, however, forgot to book one in advance. Nate, who helped us last year (and remembered!), really took care of me by searching for any available accessible room. However, there were none available. So, he gave me an upgrade.
After spending one night in the upgraded room with a tub, I realized it would be easier to switch to a room with a standup shower. (I’m a double above the knee amputee, and when I take my legs off at night, I have accessibility issues.) I was easily switched to a room with a standup shower.
I also asked for an extra chair so that I could access the sink, and Nate delivered it personally.
Nate's personal touch made the stay more welcoming. he is definitely a model for others to follow. "
"Pros: the staff were great, always so helpful. FREE bottled water and a variety of snacks in room, plus iced tea, lemonade, and popcorn in the lobby. Housekeeping was excellent. I stayed several days and my room was immaculate each afternoon when I returned from sightseeing. One cute touch - they change the rugs in the elevator by time of day- good morning/afternoon/evening.
Cons: the carpets/furnishings have seen better days. Some look worn/stained. The bed was too soft for my liking, but might work for others.
Overall, I would definitely stay there again. It may not be the prettiest, but everything else is top notch!"
