"The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat.
We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. "What a great location. Accommodation is very well appointed with everything you need. Excellent walking access to all the essential facilities in the village. Try and travel light as there is a walk to the property along an uneven path which with heavy case will be a challenge.The hospitality and welcome from Catherine is exceptional and nothing was too much trouble.A great stay! "This is the most amazing house we have ever stayed in on all of our travels! We had read the description but it goes beyond the feeling you have when you’re actually in it! The home was meticulous plus you are able to feel the age of it while the added modern features make it very comfortable. Communications with the host were many and very helpful and Andrea and Maritine were always eager to help us! The village of Beynac doesn’t even seem real! Our trip to Beynac and living in this incredible house have made our trip to France unforgettable! We had wished we would have made our trip longer as our accommodations were just unbelievable! We’re so happy to have had this experience!!!!"

"We booked Chez Suzy for a family reunion, and it was perfect. 7 berooms, most ensuite. Facilities were great too with a lovely pool and gardens. Nice bbq area with a choice of either charcoal or gas. We dined outside as we barbecued most nights with the seating area more than adequate for our number. Most of the family drove from the UK, Germany and Gibraltar and more than enough room for the 3 cars.We highly recommend and hopefully we can visit again.Evelyne proved a lovely host and was always available if needed. "There are not enough words to describe this lovely part of France. We have been to France many times but this area is amazing. Mont Joie exceeded all expectations. A beautiful property set above the Dordogne where we were provided all amenities and more. We were able to relax and enjoy our time together. Martine is a joy, she helped us in so many ways!
