"There was no breakfast. On Expedia it says there is free breakfast. But all they do is give you a $7 credit to the coffee shop that shares space in their building. You are limited to bagels, pastries or egg bagel sandwich and obviously a coffee and one of these items costs more than $7. So there is no free breakfast. The building is very old, which I know is part of the charm. But in a lot of nice historic hotels, you at least have newer amenities in the room and our TV was very old as well. Overall, the room was clean but our sheets had very strange oil like stains in them. It was nice to be in the historic part of town although nothing is really around there to see or do. I wouldn't stay here again. I would select one of the newer hotels just to be more comfortable."

"First and foremost, the views were beautiful. Sunset was especially spectacular. The house is Pet friendly which was a must for us, so we were just fine if the place was feeing just a little worn (floors especially). The management was terrific. Communication was great and prompt. Even had a maintenance guy in right away for minor fixes. Instruction including access drive was very helpful. The house was plenty spacious and plenty of different areas and levels. Furnishings were plentiful and comfortable. Beds, linens, and kitchen items were all fine. Interesting and slightly challenging access road, but not busy at all. Not entirely secluded especially if you have loud neighbors like we did for part of the stay. Close enough to many cool places including Asheville and Blue Ridge Parkway along with several other cute places and towns. Not far for groceries and supplies"

"A lot of thought and work went into creating this wonderful place for a sizable group of guest to lodge comfortably. We were a group of eight adults, and from sleeping quarters to bathing needs to hanging out, having dinner, and preparing meals it flowed well.We spent three nights at the Bungalow so we could attend a concert one evening. You could go there and spend a week without any plans. The only down side I can think of for this visit, the next place we travel to will be hard to match the quality of this stay.I highly The Bungalow in Greeneville, TN"
