"I was traveling with my family — two adults and two small children (a 2-year-old and a 6-month-old) — and booked a double room, as I’ve done many times in other hotels without issue.
Upon arrival, the receptionist informed us that having four people in a double room was not allowed.
I calmly explained that we had never encountered this policy before and asked why we would need to pay for an extra bed, especially since our baby doesn’t even use one. The receptionist was unwilling to listen, and...

"Il s’agit d’un ancien hôtel campanile. Il est vieux n’est pas entretenu. En ce qui concerne la propreté, il faut la revoir. La vmc est sale. Le petit déjeuner n’est pas à la hauteur : cake n’est pas du jour, nage dans le sucre en poudre une céréale. A déconseiller."

"Pleasant property and host Jean-Christophe. After road trip we were looking forward to cup of tea, but no tea & coffee facilities in room.
Hadn't planned to travel for dinner but appreciated the restaurant reservation in Perigeux at Hercule Poireau (cave) restaurant, great atmosphere, personable staff and beautifully presented, delicious cuisine.

"Our room was spotless, well-equipped and supremely comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was very good. There is very little you would walk to from here, but if you have a car this is an excellent stop. "

"This hotel is a beautiful oasis very close to historic villages and towns. The rooms are atmospheric and well appointed, the staff is very helpful and friendly, and the restaurant is outstanding. Being at Chateau des Reynats was a blissful experience."

"Great staff, secure covered parking, clean rooms. Not the nicest part of town, but close to trains and within walking distance of the historic city centre. The dingy hallways detracted from the nice rooms, reception and breakfast areas. "
"A lovely welcome to the hotel with full information about security, car park and features on the comfortable room.
An excellent restaurant was recommended - Chez Fred. "
