"Pleasant property and host Jean-Christophe. After road trip we were looking forward to cup of tea, but no tea & coffee facilities in room. Hadn't planned to travel for dinner but appreciated the restaurant reservation in Perigeux at Hercule Poireau (cave) restaurant, great atmosphere, personable staff and beautifully presented, delicious cuisine. ."

"Overall it was a nice hotel for 2 stars, with perfectly clean rooms and friendly staff. The room was a little cramped, not much maneuvering room around the twin beds or in the ensuite, but it was quite cheap and served our purposes nicely. Possibly worth knowing is that the wifi si free but only allows the connection of one device at a time. Breakfast was continental-style, quite varied and 6 euros per person."

"We had a really super stay here. What a beautiful hotel; traditional, immaculately clean and so well equipped. We were made to feel so welcome for our short stay (hopefully longer next time!). "This is a budget hotel. We only slept and showered there. We brought our dogs. We booked the rooms at 21:00 for a 22:00 arrival. The entrance is automated. We did not get our confirmation codes to the doors. All of that was solved with a quick call. It was clean and looks like there’s food machines in the lobby if you needed something. The hotel is located in a business zone though there are other hotels nearby. Free parking in the back. If you are arriving late (and are with dogs) and leaving...

"We used Le Mas des Boires as a home base for a family wedding (service in Saint-Jean-de-Côle, reception at Chateau des Boires). The property was beautiful with a wonderful outdoor garden, refreshing pool (although smaller than the picture), and well-appointed stately rooms with private bathrooms (we had two large side-by-side rooms with balconies that overlooked the property. We loved the historic charm of the building - huge manger in the dining room; stone walls, exposed wood beams, etc....
