"First of all I don’t complain or write negative reviews. This is a first. After all of the issues were staying at this property I requested a 20% discount for our stay and they only agreed to 10%. The house was listed at 12 occupants at the time of booking and when we arrived at the property, we found only room for eight people. Inside the property, the occupancy note said eight people in the main house. Because they knew we had 10 people and only 8 sleeping spots I wanted 20% back. The host changed the occupancy notes from 12 to 8 immediately after I brought this up to her and still kept her price the same . There are many issues with the property that have been in negative reviews for at least 2 years and they have not been fixed. The front door lock did not work. The outdoor shower had broken plumbing causing it to spray you with scalding hot water at knee level.The water in the main shower is backwards. I know that there is a sign on the wall that explains that the hot is cold and the cold is hot but no matter what you did you either got a luke warm shower or scolding top shower no in between. When arriving the dumpster on the side of the house was overflowing and had not been emptied in a while. We left the house in much better shape. I suggest that the host fix the issues with the plumbing and to clean the place up a little bit, including the back tiki hut that was not usable due to garbage and other clutter. The pictures are super inaccurate of what you pay for."
