"Check in was a breeze. Staff was very friendly from the front desk to the housekeeping ladies. We were on the 6th floor with an oceanfront view from the balcony. Watching the sunrise from the balcony was a beautiful view. Watching the Cars Cruising in the boardwalk parade was doable. We did get a few nice pictures from a different angle. It was also dog friendly and there were a lot of well behaved dogs staying. There were a few drawbacks but nothing too serious. We didn’t know what floor we had until check in and had only one parking spot per room during a Car Cruise but we messaged the Inn before we got there and they informed us about that so we weren’t blinded by anything. They responded quickly to emails and answered questions reasonably. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, had no problems and were greeted every time we entered the building and were always told to have a good day."

"We’ve stayed here before but it seems the end of the season has caught up with the property conditions. It could use a good bit of tidying up and general maintenance—shouldn’t be charging prime rates when the appearance doesn’t match. Staff was okay but the place was almost empty and we were granted only 30 minutes extra time when we asked for a later checkout than normal due to all the rain; we were trying to get down to the water for a last visit before showering and heading home. So we just left. Kind of a bad note to leave on. Not a terrible hotel by any means it just seemed like they didn’t really want to be open."

"My family and I’s stay was memorable! We absolutely loved the location — if you are all about the location this is the place to be! Ease of parking (that you pay $20/night for) is questionable— first come scenario under the property itself, then one 1/2 street block length on-road parking strip is reserved for guests one block away from the property, and then your final choice seems to be about a mile away heading towards the bay. You don’t want to haul luggage from any of them so plan to unload prior to parking! Finally, cleanliness and state of the rooms.. this took a minute to adjust to. The few is great, the beds too along with their bedding, but the room itself smelled the minute that we opened the door. Initially the smell was almost of cigarette smoke (which I wasn’t getting blamed for!) but as the days went on I was more under the impression that it was more uncontrolled moisture. Next door to a beach I get it! Nobody was allowed to walk around barefoot in the room. Our bathroom felt like it hadn’t been cared for a bit — hair in the corner, outdated sink and vanity, signs of deterioration. There were also super questionable markings on one of the upper walls in the unit as well as on the ceiling. Overall, we made it through just fine, and quite honestly I would even go right back to the same room, but this time I may just bring my own cleaning supplies to start the stay off fresh!"
