"Poor quality hotel. Toilet Door doesn’t shut Old dated and poor quality Bedding was stained, pillow has something gross on it. Food area was right next to our door so not happy with noise. Floor boards squeaks really annoying. Breakfast included! Only to find out it’s toast and cereal only. This place is a 2 star rating. "

"The room was excellent, comfortable and everything you would need. The hotel is within the Uni campus and a short drive into thectown centre. The spa facilities were excellent we enjoyed the steam room, sauna, pool and jacuzzi. The changing rooms are well equipped. Great relaxing stay. "

"Nice hotel. Easy check in. Room was fine. All good. Couldnt get seated in the restaurant due to other large group bookings, so was suggested ro pull tables together to meet need. Food was good. Just lacked a bit of character really. Functional..."

"Beautiful room with a balcony and reservoir view. Lovely to be able to sit outside with a cup of tea after a busy day at Rutland. Staff extremely helpful and welcoming. Breakfast choice excellent and good to have healthy options and oats milk but a pity the majority of hotels now have self serve tea/coffee via machines although appreciate it does save costs."

"Great place to stay right in the centre of Leicester. The rooms are updated, modern and very comfortable. Parking is available on site at the back of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety of high quality food to choose from. Highly recommended."

"Room was small but generally fine. Could have done with better lighting but everything worked. Food very good, good selection of drinks at the bar and decent tea in the room. It was nice that there was always staff about. Lovely setting and plenty of car parking. We had a few issues though - the bed sheets had blood stains on them. Had obviously been washed but we asked for replacement sheet as it was not nice to sleep in. The toilet seat was loose, but the worst thing was one of the single mattresses was well worn so you could feel all the springs. After tossing and turning for hours, I eventually put a towel on top which at least allowed me to sleep. These negatives put a bit of a downer on the stay, particularly considering it wasn't a cheap place to stay. So overall it's a could do better. "
