"Clean large room with everything I needed for my stay. "

"Staff were nice and the hotel has a great location. The restaurant was closed for refurbishment so i had to go out for food, the room had noisy water pipes and the toilet started to leak. I would go back only if there were some serious refurbishment. Fine for a one night stay "

"Room was clean and comfortable, really convenient being on the racecourse itself so I was able to be back in the room minutes after the last race ended! Also lovely that my room overlooked the stables so I could watch the horses arriving after I checked in. Breakfast was nice, although there could have been a few more options in terms of baked goods/pancakes etc. Only issue was the sound proofing wasn't excellent and I did get woken up early, but a nice stay other than that."

"Facilities fine"

"Good value hotel which is upgrading the rooms at the moment. Our room had obviously been recently renovated and was brilliant with everything you would want from a small hotel room. Great shower/ all modern sockets with usb/ good tv with internet connection/ air conditioning which was very good. The bar area really needs some attention with ripped seats and scared walls where old air conditioners have been removed but it does look like work is being done all over the hotel to update and improve all facilities while still being open for business. All in all a solid 8.5 out of 10 for the price."

"Our stay at the vine was lovely, Pros convenient right in the centre, Loverly friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels, tea coffee facilities. Cons, steep narrow stairs upto the top floor, really squeaky floor boards in the room kept waking others up in the room when getting up to use the bathroom in the night. Second time I’ve stayed and would definitely visit again. "

"Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. Lovely breakfast. The decor is a little dated and could do with refurbishment but overall a very pleasant stay. Conveniently located for Mollineux. A lovely pub just 50 yards up the road too. "
