"They said we was smoking in the room witch is a non smokable hotel that doesn’t allow pets , we purchased a one night stay with a 100$ deposit and when we got there the hallways were smelling like weed . We were approached by a worker at our door with an attitude asking us when we were leaving then she responded with it reeks weed in our room but we never smoked in their , another worker came in as we were walking out and went in our room and came back and said it smelled fruity and like fragrance and weed .of course it’s smell fruity it was girls in the room and the sheet were dirty and the bathroom floor was wet and they had dogs in there barking witch they said they don’t allow service dogs aren’t very aggressive and the one I heard was so I did not enjoy my stay ."

"Lots of yummy choices for Breakfast and the coffee - which is important to me - is always fresh. My room was clean and comfortable, and I love the giant mirror in the bathroom that has a makeup mirror light built in. I have stayed here before and will stay again. "

"We had no HVAC working properly and no maintenance available to help. We upgraded to the Pure room. Currently working on a resolution for this extremely hot and loud night. Will update my review once I hear back. But this specific location is outdated and old. But the staff was truly so kind. "

"The clean and spacious room was great for my Mom and I for our 3 night stay. Since there was a large fridge and cooktop, we went to the Walmart close by for snacks and meals to make in room which saved a lot of $ on eating out. It was not a far drive to Lord of Hosts Church or Zoo which were the reasons we were in town. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The FREE washer and dryer was a nice perk we used before we left."

"It's a big house that can sleep a lot of people, but sounds travel easily throughout the house. From the living rooms to the bedrooms....from bedrooms upstairs to downstairs. There are a lot of blankets in the house making it nice and cozy, but they turned the furnace room into a bedroom which was tough to sleep in. We really enjoyed the pool table and having some games to play together during our time!It was misleading that the main level requires a half flight of stairs to access, which was hard on the elderly in our group. There are 3 bedrooms downstairs and only 1 bathroom with a tiny shower, so the logistics were a bit constrained on the bathroom front. For being able to accommodate a large group to sleep, there wasn't much for dining seating or cookware but there was plenty of seating if you include the couches. "

"We had a great stay at this property in March/April 2026 with our elementary aged kids and dog. The neighborhood is nice and quiet but conveniently located to hop on the interstate to the zoo or downtown. Also we found plenty of restaurants and stores nearby and enjoyed Prehistoric Putt. The house is nice and very spacious, and the kitchen is quite well-appointed. We appreciated the 2 separate living spaces in the living room and basement. The king master and 3 queens are all together on the upper level, which was perfect for us, and there is a set of twin bunkbeds in the basement. The mattresses were a bit firm for our taste, but the linens are very nice.You can park in the double garage, which is a nice extra feature. Kids loved the games in the basement. There are coat hooks by the garage door, closets in every bedroom, and two vanity cabinets in the master bath—great touches to help keep things organized. Keep in mind there are a lot of stairs here—3 half flights because of the split level.Our dog made good use of the fenced backyard and it was helpful that the kitchen was gated to contain him when we left. The yard could use some cleanup where it looks like there used to be a pool, he got a little muddy on rainy days.The host was very responsive and friendly. We found one small problem with a dripping pipe, and he let me decide whether to have someone come in to fix it while we were there or wait until we left—very accommodating. "
