This hotel was just OK, and I say that reluctantly. I actually LIKE hotels with smoother surfaces, simple furniture, etc., and the HGI has that. However, the bed was squeaky, had some kind of metal base, and this was an issue as my husband gets up several times in any night. Also, there was a strange wrinkle all the way down the wallpaper in a corner of the bathroom that indicated either poor repair or poor construction under the wallpaper. Breakfast was good, service was good, but these two things made this hotel a little discomforting.

I booked this stay weeks ago. When I arrived, I was told they were oversold and I had no room. They blamed me because I used Expedia. No one from the hotel or Expedia let me know beforehand. I don’t like how the Hilton manager handled the situation; he was very unsympathetic and dismissive. I had a negative impression of Hilton Garden’s approach to customer service and I have second thoughts about using Expedia as well.

The place was nice upon arrival. The room were clean and nice. I felt that the beds were uncomfortable. I understand that it’s a hotel but there was constant noise like someone running around and jumping all night. Upon check in the ladies at the front desk didn’t seem friendly and didn’t provide us with any information of amenities or breakfast times.
