"This is a lovely rustic inn and pub in a historical location. Located on the outskirts of Nottingham and an easy on off of the highway prior to our flight home. We stayed 2 nights after exploring northern England. The beds are clean and comfortable, the food is delicious and the drinks are cold. Lots of local conversation with friendly people"

"I stayed here a couple of years and then moved areas so was delighted to find it again recently , the rooms are amazing everything you need and the breakfast was just as perfect as I remember, the owner Jenny remembered me from 2 years ago loved it so much booked again for next week - lovely relaxing environment with a homely feel ( just what you need when you travel so much with work )"

"Lovely owner who’s not long taken over. Wonderful options for breakfast, comfy bed with lots of tea, coffee and biscuits etc also lots of toiletries.
We couldn’t have been more looked after and well informed about the local area. We’d love to revisit!!"
