Discover the walkable area of Notre-Dame-du-Bessin—cathedral, pristine countryside and sights from Museum of the Bayeux Tapestry to Cathedrale Notre-Dame Bayeux.
This is surely a hidden Gem! I cannot speak highly enough of the hosts. The hotel is full of artefacts from the WW2 D Day invasion. There’s even a C47 cockpit here, pictures of the invasion, bits and pieces that are just fascinating…. Get Paul, the owner to tell you about them and you will learn as much about D Day as visiting a museum… The hotel itself is a very nice comfortable place to stay, great room and bathroom. Had a wonderful couple of days staying at this really cute family owned B&B in Bayeux. Valerie, the owner was so incredibly sweet. She not only had a wonderful breakfast ready for us each morning (including some of her own home made goodies), she went out of her way to help us find a d-day tour and transfer to Mont Saint-Michel. We felt so welcome here and like we were at a home away from home. I can’t recommend this place enough.

The staff, amenities and food at Les Villas d'Arromanches are wonderful. The best D Day museum and beautiful seafood restaurants are a stroll from the hotel. Bayeux and its medieval Tapestry are a short drive away.

I chose to stay here for a few days while exploring Bayeux and Normandy.
The hotel is in a beautiful old building and is nicely decorated. The staff were friendly and provided some amazing tips for my visit. Secure parking is an option if required, and the optional breakfast was very nice and well priced.
The hotel’s central location makes it easy to explore Bayeux on foot, or to find a nearby restaurant or bakery.
Overall a great experience, I will stay here again next time I visit Bayeux.
