We found Stone’s Throw to be a clean, well-appointed bungalow, well situated for the beach, shops and eating places. The garden is secure, preventing the escape of our 2 “Houdini-like” Cairn Terriers. The local beach is easily accessed, sandy and dog friendly. Dogs and humans had a great time.

Stones Throw is a well presented and decorated bungalow of a high standard but little things let it down. The bed linen, duvets and pillows needed washing more thoroughly, they were not fresh. The boiler is tempremental and often turns itself off. However the owner did offer help. Overall it was very comfortable and welcoming, with many attractive features. The cottage was clean and welcoming.

The cottage was clean and welcoming. Great attention had been paid to ensure that my dogs were well catered for - throws to protect the furniture, pooh bags (just in case), even a spare dog bed. The cottage is furnished to a good standard, it is a genuine 5 minutes walk from a lovely beach. I would recommend Stone's Throw unresevedly. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

we had a lovely holiday thank you, thanks again for the cake and milk in the fridge & the tea n coffee. it was our second visit to Stones Throw we came in 2018 & again this year 2019. we were going to book for next year as well but when we looked at the price for 2020 it has gone up considerably so its completely out of our budget. but thanks again for the last two years . We had a lovely week at Stones Throw in Bacton.

We had a lovely week at Stones Throw in Bacton. It was a perfect place to take our dog, pubs & cafes all very welcoming and all within a short walking distance. The beach was great, sandy and dog friendly (further up the beach there were restrictions). We ventured into the sea on a few occasions and had a good time in the waves, highlight being visited by a seal which was probably wondering what we were up too. The actual cottage is very nice, well decorated, lovely conservatory and secure garden. Also appreciated the welcome gifts (tea, coffee, milk and cake!). The local folks we met on our trip were also lovely and friendly and if you are a dog owner I would definitely recommend Bacton for you. Overall a very relaxing holiday and we will no doubt be back. Recommendations: Poachers Pocket pub and restaurant (need to book though in summer) and the lovely Sugar and Spice cafe, great breakfasts and plenty of room for dogs inside.
