"The staff made the entire trip special. Juan & Luisa, the owners of the Phoenix Restaurant are incredibly friendly. There was no hot water however, so just be prepared for that. The views can not be beaten in Fortuna. You oversee the lake and the volcano and the property is full of beautiful plants, flowers and wildlife. Make sure to rent an suv or something with off road capabilities because to get to the hotel you have to trek up a gravel road up hill. But it’s worth every second of it. The...
