"An unexpected GEM! The hotel remodeled a number of rooms and ours was incredible. They say the hotel closes in October to complete the job and it will be amazing. We are going to come back next Sept for an extended stay. Can't wait. Great service, close to downtown, very quiet. incredible "

"An old, stately hotel, with works of art in the corridors, lobby and gardens. Wonderful housekeeping and laundry service. Very plentiful buffet breakfast included, where one can sit at a table overlooking Lake Maggiore. The dinner at this restaurant was excellent. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the town of Stresa, where there are shops, restaurants, and a boat to transport you to the islands. The gym/spa/pool complex is amazing. The crowning glory of the hotel are the expansive lake views from many rooms. What a glorious thing to wake up to sunrise over the lake!"

"This was the best sleep I have had for many years the bed was so comfortable. The air conditioning didn’t work but it didn’t bother me but the coming from airport and going back in total was 90 euros so not cheap and abit far . "
