Hotel Berna

Hotel Berna

10/10 Excellent
"I love how close this hotel is to the train station. EXCELLENT customer service. I always fly to Milan whenever I visit Europe from the US. This hotel made it so EASY for me to hop in and out countries. The best part about this hotel ... They give you free sodas as well. Not just a bottle water. 🙏"

"This is a great hotel in the Porta Garibaldi area of Milan. We drove into the city and did struggle to find it at first with the small streets and being unfamiliar with the city, but once we found it the process for parking and check in were very straightforward. The hotel is very modern and clean, and the staff are very friendly and helpful, offering recommendations for aperitivo and dinner in the area. The rooms are a great size for a city hotel and are very well equipped with robes, plenty of towels and shower products. There are also reusable water bottles in the rooms and water dispensers on each floor with is a nice touch to avoid having to buy bottled water. The breakfast has a good range of both hot and cold options and coffee and tea choices, with the scrambled eggs being a nice touch in individual Le Creuset pots and very tasty. There is also a Metro station very close to the hotel, so getting around the city is easy as well as getting to the main station for trains to Monza as we needed. It was a great location for our weekend visiting for the Formula 1 and I would recommend for a city stay also due to the proximity to the Metro station and other city attractions such as the Duomo."

Hotel Dei Cavalieri Milano Duomo

Hotel Dei Cavalieri Milano Duomo

8/10 Good
"Older property meant spacious room and bathroom, including large sink and tub. Clean and great location, though air conditioner whistled all night. The Roof has a gorgeous view but be aware that the first drink costs 25 Euros (even soft drinks); this fact is in small print on page 1 of the menu but not noted in advertising left in hotel room."

"Nice hotel within a 6 minute walk of Milan Centrale train station. I was greeted warmly by the front staff both is whom spoke perfect English. When you enter the room the key chip must be inserted into a slot to keep all lights on. Room was clean and neat but the bed allowed minimal room to pass between it and the wall. Numerous switches controlling who know what. Too many switches. All in all it was a nice and convenient hotel for a one night stay."
